Flight simulator deluxe X

I have installed Flight simulator X the deluxe version. When I go to play it, it says (not enough room on hard drive to run it.

My computer is

AMD athlon dual core Ql-60~1.9ghz
1790mb ram
71.4 gb free of 139gb

it says it only need 14 gb free to run it....

What is the exact error message it is giving you?

Just an update to this question is, the actual phrase is, not enough disk space to run this program.

Hello cmech34,
Take a look here and see if this helps.
I know it says memory but it does address the disk space too.
Also how are you trying to load the game, try loading from the game folder.
Good luck and post your results.


You receive the "Your computer has run out of available memory" error message when you start Flight Simulator

Ok I did the rebuild, and now I actually got the loading page of flight simulator, and not the error message, but it is now showing not responding.

Could you try to wait for it a bit? if you're on Vista this process might take a while, and Vista has the tendency to show not responding a lot.

Post back the results. Give it a couple of minutes to do it's thing, If there's hard drive activity, you can check by looking at the lights on your case, one is for power which is constantly on and the other one is for the hard disk, should be constantly on or flashing at a rapid rate.
