| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Update Doom 3 & Vista First, thanks to all who answered my post for help. Finally got Doom 3 to work. It turns out not to have been Vista or the graphics card, but rather my failure to disable windows firewall. Once it was turned off the game ran fine. I do have a third party firewall with Doom 3 as an exception in the rules. Usually I don't use window firewall but for some braindead reason I did. Just a FYI for others who may have trouble. |
