Intel GMA 3100 G33 *S.T.A.L.K.E.R.*

I want to play the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky because I heard it was a wonderful game, but I have integrated Intel GMA 3100 G33 graphics and I didn't know if I could run it, so I went to yougamers.com and ran a test, it said I met the minimum requirements. I then went to systemrequiermentslab.com and checked with their "Can You Run It" tool and found I didn't meet the system requirements (Don't have Hardware T&L/Vertex Shader 2.0), but I had checked earlier with intel and they said I could play some games with Hardware T&L and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was listed in their game list for Intel GMA 3100 G33 - Intel® G33 Express Chipset - Games playability list on Microsoft Windows Vista*

I'm really unsure of what to do right now, could someone help me out?

Basically. forget it. Intel graphics are rubbish and Stalker Clear Sky can push a 5870 to its limits at 1080p. Hard ware T+L is transform and lighting, a basic requirement for virtually all modern games. You also need around 3-4GB of RAM and preferably, a 7200RPM hard drive.

Just what I thought. I'm gonna just go with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. S.O.C. , another user with same graphics played it fine,so I'm going to try it out.

Another user? At what resolution? 640x480 if your cpu is up for it?

CPU Is Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 500GB Hardrive, 4GB RAM I'm pretty sure it can handle it :P

I'm not sure about resolution, but he said he could play it fine with some settings on medium.

If this is a desktop, then 1024x768 with all setting on low, and AA + AF turned off, and disable most of your background programs in the notification tray. Then you might get decent framerates - might.

That is for STALKER, not clear sky, so STALKER yes, but the new one? Maybe.

Well, I'm going to go for it anyways. Hey, the chipset manufacturer said it works and they tested it, I also ran requirements tests so I'll try it. I'll probably not get high framerates even on low quality (20-30fps), but I'm guessing it'll still be playable. BTW - Screen Resolution is 1680x1050 *Try looking at my specs at the bottom of my posts/acc*

I'll get a better graphics card to top off my computer later on, but for now this will have to do. :P

FPS like STALKER: Clear Sky are unplayable below 40fps, because when you shoot something the fps drop to 30. Try it, it will be virtually unplayable. As to the graphics card, don't bother updating but buy a new socket 1156 pc.
