Pacific Fighters

One of my favorite games has always been ubisofts Pacific Fighters. I loaded it on my new computer which has vista but I cannot get it to run. I have had problems with the set-up exec. on other games because of vista.

Hey mike

If a game is somewhat older (it came ouot before vista did) you should right click the file you use to launch it and go to porperities>compatibility and change the compat to XP SP2

Hope this helps

Re: Pacific Fighters

Thank you for your reply. I right clicked on the Icon and then clicked on properties, but nothing to do with compatibility showed up. It was hardware etc.

Re: Pacific Fighters

Easiest thing would be to install a Virtual XP OS within Vista, this way you can play all your favorite but oldie games that may not be compatible with Vista.

Re: Pacific Fighters

Thank you for your reply. I don't really need to know what a virtual XP OS is, I just need to know where to find it so that I can install it. Of course, because Vista is the type of operating system that it is, it may not install that either.

Re: Pacific Fighters

Thank you for your reply Asta La Vista. I like your user name, if its like asta la juego, then it mean see ya later vista. I feel not like auf wiedersehen vista, I feel more like verschwinde Vista or maybe Pak Dich Vista, Geh Weg Vista. When I bought this computer from Best Buy they promised me a free upgrade to Windows 7 ,I'm waiting for that and I hope that Windows 7 will be as user friendly as Windows XP.
