Vista - Dungeon Keeper 2 won't even install

Dungeon Keeper 2 won't even install here.
I see the screen where you have to pick Install or Exit, but when I click Install, nothing happens.
I've tried running it in compat mode with XP SP 2 and I have disable desktop composition and visual themes.
Nothing helps.

Any help?

What is your specs?

Vista Business 64bit.
Q6600 and 4GB RAM
8800GTS 512 MB

Strange. You are running "as administrator" too?

Image the disk as .iso and then mount it.

That didn't work at first, but then I rebooted, and I tried it again, and it worked

Really weird, it worked perfectly then. The setup was done superfast, then I installed all the patches and now it's 1.70 and it works perfectly.

I've played it for 2 hours now, and it crashes sometimes, without any reason.
Anything I can do about that?

Right-click the shortcut and set compatibility to 98 and disable composition and effects. Also try 95. It still crashed for me occasionally. Its an old game anyway.

I'm running it in 800x600 now, and it never crashes anymore.
