Plan to port Xbox 360 games to Windows?

I noticed that Microsoft exclusively releases certain titles only on Xbox. I don't have an Xbox or any next-gen console for that matter, just a large gaming laptop that really hauls ass for the games I play. That's all I want. So I can't play exclusive 360 games such as Dead Rising, Crackdown, or the recently released Halo 3: ODST.

Does anyone know if there are there plans to port these games to Windows? Or at least Halo 3 or Halo 3: ODST?

I have no idea how to ask Microsoft this, or even if that's possible, so I thought I'd post it here.

Laptops are rubbish and you won't want to spend $2000 on one that can play new games on medium @ 1366x768. Build yourself a real computer. Laptops aren't for games. Yet.

Not really the answer he's looking for.

Hello Soulwound,
Welcome to the forum, as far as i know, there are no plans to release these titles on to the PC market, now or any time soon, I'm as frustrated as you are with the way things are going, i was looking forward to playing Gears of War 2 on the PC, but it looks like i will have to buy a 360 for the privilege of playing that game, the only thing you can do is to keep your fingers crossed and wait, along with millions of other hopeful PC owners.

Dude. I don't care. I bought a laptop with a powerful graphics card and I use it for games. If you hate laptops, that's your business. Thank you.

Lol. I thought so. Damn it. I'm dying to play some of those games, especially the new Halo. Since I limit myself to only a laptop, I can only play Halo: CE and Halo 2. Oh well, maybe Microsoft will start to give more attention to Windows in terms of video games.

A 9700M is equal to a desktop 9800GT and lower. It isn't that good. Its enough for Halo 2, but any newer game will choke at higher resolutions. Gears of War 2 will probably come for 7 - in a couple of years. Look how long Halo 2 took and then the interface looks made for an xbox 360 controller!
