Batman Arkham Asylum

I recently installed the d2d version of Batman Arkham Asylum. My computer meets the minimum requirements for the game. Yet after installing and lunching the game, I get the following error:

"Bmgame.exe has stopped working"
On clicking 'View Problem Details', I obtained the following:
General protection fault!

"

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum

I was going to suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling the game and add any patches.
But I saw your system specs - kudos for filling them out btw.
unfortunately your graphics card isnt dedicated - meaning you dont really have a "graphics card" per se'
you have an integrated display adapter (Intel Express Chipset Family 286MB ), that would in no way support this new game.

you will need to buy a graphics card in order to play this game, you can buy one that will run this game at 1024x768 low resolution for less than 100USD

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum

Oh sorry I haven't updated it, I have a ATI Radeon HD 4670. So you think I should reinstall? Any other thoughts?

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum

Ah kk. I'm still browsing a bit while the patch downloads and I saw my Realtec Audio Driver might fiddle with it. Will try updating/disabling it.

Re: Batman Arkham Asylum

Ok got it working. I renamed my directory than installed the patch. Copied all patch files to game folder and renamed back to normal.
