I have programmed a freebasic program that crashes on pressing alt enter.

Alt enter goes from full screen directx (exiting directx) to a windowed GDI.

It worked perfectly in XP.

I was wondering if there is something about the Vista directx that is causing this.



Like maybe it is misssing a directx file.

I have already used the Directx End user Runtime Web Installer.

This would have all the directx 9 files would it not ?

Anyone have some ideas ?

its most likely neither vista nor direct x but your gpu drivers causing the crash , why dont you put your program out for testing see if we can figure it out
