Perhaps it's a background application that is taking priority.

Hello Energylord,
Have you ever had a prompt come up about "sticky keys" ?.
It's a feature of Windows, Sticky Keys can be activated by pressing 5 times on the SHIFT key, so if you are gaming and have that key set for an action, press it five times and you are back to your desktop.
Check to see if they are enabled.

yes i know about sticky keys (it is all off now) and i cant seem to remember anything that should take priority to make the game minimize.... i did keep task manager minimized so i could see what was active,using some cpu ,etc after the minimization and nothing..

Well if you're sure you aren't hitting any keys that would make it do that (Windows key, Shift five times, alt+tab, Caps Lock, etc) you might try running the game in safe mode (if that will even work haha, not sure if a heavy game would work in safe mode) and if it runs and doesn't have that problem, we'll show you how to figure it out with a clean boot. Let me know if if works in safe mode.
