frontlines fuel of war

hello all
i've reinstalled frontlines but when i play its real jerky, set graphics settings to low still jerky
my pc runs crysys and cod4 ok so i cant understand why i get it on this game.
any 1 have any ideas as to why/ how to solve it

Are you running the latest drivers for your Video card ?, is the game patched to the latest patch ?.

amd 64 x2 6400 black edition cpu
drivers where updated as of start december
and fully patched
cant see why it runs like this also tried compatbilty mode

only thing I can think off is that drivers got corrupted after the installation of the game. I would uninstall and install a fresh copy of the video & audio drivers. If that doesn't work... uninstall the game as well and then do the same with drivers.

What has changed in the last six months ?, any new software/hardware, something running in the background that was not there before, try the Video drivers you were using when it was running OK, (new doesn't mean better).
Are the settings in the Video cards control panel the same as they were back then ?, new drivers = new defaults sometimes.
Is it the same AV program you were running then ?.
Something has changed on your system, its just a case of finding what it is.

apart from windows systhem updates the only real change is gpu drivers and i'm now using eset smart sercurity
will try a fresh install if that dont work then it looks its going on ebay :)

Try disabling eset smart security and see if that has any impact, also try the older drivers you were using at the time.

Perhaps the Game is trying to call home, punkbuster or steam and somehow, Eset is not letting it?

thanks guys for the help i did fresh install, still no good, turned eset off still no good, tried older drivers stil no good, tried another install yep u guessed it, it works
arrrrgggghhhh why do pc's do this its so maddening :confused::confused:

Has anyone played Frontline Fields of Thunder? The graphics are pretty good, but the difficulty is killing. The game is based on the battle of Kursk in 1943, this is why I purchased the game.
