Ram size too larger

i need a help here. i installed cricket 2004 in my laptop with 1gb ram. unfortunately the game requires only 64mb of ram. so my game runs very faster that i culdnt play on it. i want to restrict the memory size that is allocated to that application. can anyone please help me.

its not the memory size that needs to be restricted, its the vertical monitor syncing, this can be done in the software supplied with your laptop that controls the graphics, if i had the model number of your laptop i could check to see what software you use and tell you how to proceed in doing this simple modification.


as an example, i have attached a picture showing what needs to be done when using an Nvidia graphics card and using Nvidia software :)

Why would you want to slow it down? IF you desperately want to, run in power save mode for your power options and unplug the pc. You will reduce CPU speed and make it slow down.

Probably due to some older games zooming along instead of the orignial pace due to newer computers, faster cpu, large graphics card.
