Help with Tom Clancy's HAWX

Is there a way to get Tom Clancy's HAWX running on Vista 32bit system. Every time i try try to open the game, whether it is the HAWX.exe or the dx10 one it keeps coming up with "saved dump files to C:\Prgram Files\.....HAWXexe.dmp.

The game gets to hte point usually where the ubisoft symbol comes up before this happens
Anyone please help. I really want it to work on vista with sp2

Hi,

  • Make sure you have the latest patch for the game. You can download the 1.02 version of the patch for free here (make sure you get the correct version of the patch, Retail CD or Digital Download): Download: Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. v1.02 Patch

  • Make sure you have a fully updated Windows Vista (sounds like you have already) and update ALL your drivers, in particular your graphics card and chipset if you can.

  • Try running the game in compatibility mode for XP and see if that makes any difference.

  • Zip up and attach to your next post (using 7-Zip: 7-Zip) the .dmp file and any log files you can find, and I will take a look at them for you.

Can you list your system specs, thanks.
This game will run alright on Vista, so, why not on yours, do you get any other error message, and have you looked in the event viewer to see if there are any clues there ?.

As niemiro said, update everything you can, sound, video, chipset, and any third party drivers you may have.

Upload as much info as you can, good luck.
