Error message when trying to install games

Hi Forum,
I have a particular problem when trying to install games from Oberon-Media in that I cannot install any of their games. I get the following error message:
Windows Internet Explorer
Cannot find 'file:///C:/Program
Data//Oberon%20Media/110005373/118206773/Loading.htm'.
Make sure the path or Internet address is correct.
The only option given is: Retype the address. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium Edition X64 bit OS, and using Windows Internet Explorer version 8. I have contacted Oberon-Media, but they are at a lose in what is causing the error message. I thought I would contact The Forum to see if anyone has had this problem? Each game carries a different series of numbers. Thank you.

Oberon Media Game Center
or
If you have an ACER computer, are you using the acer game zone link on your desktop or start menu?

I download my games directly from Oberon-Media. When I download games from other vendors other than Oberon-Media I have no trouble in installing/playing games. Thank you for your reply.

have you tried clearing cookies, cache and temporary internet files. and then re-downloading.

or tried using another internet browser such as firefox, opera, chrome etc.

Yes I have tried all the items you suggested.I even went to Firefox & I still get the same error message.

do you have an anti-virus program installed? if so, have you tried disabling it before you download the file from oberon?

Yes I have disabled my anti virus and firewall...no change

ive just downloaded and installed 3d billiards using IE and found no problems. i downloaded the game and then closed IE. then opened task manager and observed the processes tab during the install and there was No internet explorer activity throughout the whole installation process, so i dont understand why your getting an error message from IE.

when you contacted oberon, did they indicate if they were going to research the problem in more detail for you and contact you if a solution is found?
