CoD4 install problem
Hi there,
so my Call of Duty 4 didn't start so I decided to reinstall it. I removed it and now when I try to install it back it says Error 1303 "The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activison\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods.

Re: CoD4 install problem
Actually I solved the problem already, I had to install the game to some other folder than default one.
But the startup problem didn't disappear. So I can't still run CoD4 multiplayer. It shows the green guy and logo and then nothing happens. No error message or anything.

Re: CoD4 install problem
Yes to 1.7
E: I don't know if this is important, but when CoD4 is running it makes a file called __iw3mp. When you close the game it normally deletes the file. But now whenever I start the game the file just stays there, like it would be running all the time.
