Would a MSI Cyclone 4890 OC work with a MSI 4890 OC (non Cyclone)

i have a MSI 4890 Cyclone on my desktop which is
MSI USA

and i want to crossfire it with
MSI USA


MSI 4890 Cyclones are rare so im wondering if i can use a normal 4890, sure they are diffrent but they are the same. just wondering would it work?

It should have no issue, usze rivatuner, or atitool, or whatever to just oc both, and. it'll be even better.

my board says it runs at x16 x4, x8 x8 . would my board be able to use them both crossfired and get better results than just running one?

Almost all boards are x16 x8 x8... Even mine, i run sli 260s.

There are many discussions on the web, which basically conclude, very rarely do gpus fill up an x8 slot, so having 2 x16s is a waste.

So, don't even worry about having the x8. BTW, both slots will run at x8, not 1 at 16 and 1 at 8.

i think im going to wait actualy, and sell my cyclone and get like 300 bucks for it, and sell it and get one of the new 5000 series
