Best prebuilt gaming machine

Hi all,

Wondering what you think the best pre-built gaming PC is that is currently out there.

I know that custom built or user built PCs are superior to anything pre-built, but before I do this, I would like to get some experience with less expensive equipment, such as cheap hardware or taking apart off-lease PCs and putting them back together.

I'm just asking for a reference, still gotta make some cash before I can buy anything.

I will be awaiting your replies :).

well, if you want a pc that you can just take apart, i believe packard bells interior is very similar to standard desktops, and they're cheap for pre-built systems, (im aware that all interiors are similar but dell for example use colour coded slots for their non-experienced employees), i'm sure someone could donate a system to you if you haven't got the cash, have you tried local computer stores for old spares that are getting thrown away or a business that's refurbishing?

Haven't gotten on in a while because I was busy. I decided that instead of blowing 1k away on a new pc, I would just buy a graphics card for my desktop, but I'll have to wait until Thanksgiving break to figure out what I need.

Depending on if I sell my dell, I may go buy a netbook. Love the battery life and portability.

Unfortunately the upgrades & original spec of a laptop, restricts the gaming capabiltiy! Well for me anyhow.
