Solved team fortress 2 problems

the other day, i fired up TF2 and it greeted me with this. i tried to "delete local content" and redownload the game, but the problem persists. please help!

thx again for the quick response. i tried updating the DX for my computer, but to no avail. (the other topics didnt apply to me). hmm..... i guess i'll just wait a few days. maybe this is a universal problem, and hopefully steam will be releasing a hotfix.

May or may not be a hotfix, but until then
Try in safe mode, still have a problem?
If no problem try with clean boot.

alritey!! got it fixed. turned out i had to do it the hard way.. reinstall steam and all the games. but at least now its working ^^
