Heroes of might and magic 5 HELP

so i got this game a long time ago and have not played this for like 6 months but then i wanted to play it again. Whenever I try to play it, it goes to the screen where you choose your game type (single player, multiplayer, campain and etc) I choose the game type then when it is about 50% done loading it turns off and says "A problem has caused this game to stop, We will try to find out what caused it" (but they never do find out),

I tried downloading the latest patches and it says the game is not installed, SO i uninstalled it and installed it again and the same thing happens, Please help as this is driving me nuts Thank you.
