quake 4 access denied

    quake 4 access denied

    Alright, my quake 4 will not install, it keeps say access denied. Yes, i have tried run as administrator!
    I am running vista 64 bit. I have over the requirements and i should have no problem running it, but i can't because access is denied. Does anyone know why?

    It still says access denied, when i used administrator profile and used run as administrator on it

    Try going to the game website to see if others are having the same problem
    Make sure that the game is appropriate for your 64 bit
    Run a full anti virus scan, download and run a full scan with malwarebytes

    thanks i will try that, this makes me sad because q4 is my favorite pc game

    i have tried gaming websites, no one has he same problem, they all just use run as administrator and it works

    that didn't work, and on that website its problem is with q2, they say copy the files but i don't know if it will work with q4. If it does i do not know the proper folder name or update to use!

    alright, it was a problem with the disk, it had a crack in it that i hadn't noticed! Good thing i had a backup disk
