    Need Help playing Dune 2 on Windows 7 / Dos box

    I want to play this game so bad! I love it! An old thread was posted a few years ago called 'How to run an old game'. I tried to follow the steps to install and play the game, but they are out dated. Can anyone help?

    I do have Dos-Box, and I do have Dune 2, although it's not installed.

    I will do so, and hopefully then be in a position to help.

    Have found my copy of Dune 2, and will be installing within a day or two, work commitments permitting.

    This is straightforward.

    Copy the Dune 2 folder to your HDD.

    Start DOS-Box.

    Type 'mount c c:\Dune2' or whatever you've called the folder, and hit enter.

    Type 'c:' and hit enter.

    Type 'cd\dune2' and hit enter.

    Type 'Setup' and press enter.

    Select SoundBlaster and follow the prompts.

    Select EMS when prompted.

    And you are away.

    It's running now as I type.

    Hope this helps, and my apologies for the delay in replying.

    EDIT: - I'd forgotten how much fun this game was....:-)
