I was impressed - I expected allsorts of problems when I installed this and everthing worked well right from the start.
ATI Radion 1950
ASUS P5B Premium motherboard
Burning Crusade Expansion.

One thing worked much better and faster and that was the humungus patch downloads from Blizzard. They normally run into problems under Windows XP (32bit)

I have found WoW to be a bit laggy.

My system:

AMD 64 3500+
1024MB DDR400
MSI 7600GS 256MB
250GB 7200.10 Seagate HDD
Vista x64 Home Premium

I haven't had a problem yet, runs flawlessly for me as well.

SaucE, I'd suggest another 1GB of RAM, that should solve your problems! My roommate was not seeing great performance out of Vista with 1GB of RAM and decided to upgrade - solved all of his problems!

My Task Manager with only Internet Explorer loaded shows that Vista is using nearly 1GB of RAM all by itself.

Good luck!

I am having some major lag problems. Also choppy sound. I will be getting another gig of RAM to see if that solves it.

My rig:
AMD Athlon 64 3800 (Dual Core)
1 Gig DDR 667 (PC5400)
160 Seagate HD
NVidia 6150

AMD Athlon 64 3800 (Dual Core) is it an x2 or no?
1 Gig DDR 667 (PC5400) 2gb at least... I run 2gb on xp playin wow... it was studdery on 1.
160 Seagate HD sata?
NVidia 6150 <could also cause the studdering in the outlands... should run well other places.

Just a few suggestions :)

I'm just starting out with my Vista 64 experience and so far it's been a pain!

After finding special drivers for my selected network card and printer drivers for my few years old printer, I proceeded to copy over an installation of WOW from a Vista 32 laptop, using a couple of DVDs.

The files copied over ok but I couldn't get WoWACE auto updater to work correctly. This was due to file permissions, but after a while I gave up, deleted the copied folder and installed from the original game disks.

Everything seemed to be going well until it was patch time, and the patch kept failing. Blizzard said that this was due to file permissions also. So I had another play. I must've done something different, because I can now patch and (hopefully cos I haven't trued yet) update and install addons correctly.

I suppose my question is, why am I having problems with file permissions etc in Vista64 that I didn't (or at least don't remember having) in Vista32. Is there a setting somewhere? Thanks in advance.
