Lineage 2 =/

Lineage has huge issues with vista, I read on plaync.com that they aren't going to budge when it comes to fixing their "lovely" gameguard... which hacks players computers when they log on to the server. Of course this is a big issue for the new and improved security with windows vista. At first I was able to log on to their servers with no issues, until about 5 minutes into game play then my whole computer crashes. Now I can't even get past the character selection screen w/o getting this error:

2007.5.18 12:28:03
OS : Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU : GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 1596 MHz with 1013MB RAM
Video : Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family (1114)

You have triggered a bug in the DirectX 9.0 runtime. Please install DirectX 8.1b (or later) for a fix. See Release Notes for instructions on how to obtain it.

I guess it is reading Vista as "windows xp 5.1 (build: 2600)" Anyway if anyone out there comes across a patch or a workaround could ya give me a hand! Oh I am also having an AGP error pop up before it loads the game, for some reason I can't download the newest drivers from Intel. Vista is great but there is so much I can't understand with it.. not yet anyway.
