Vista can't remember program's language

I have this problem that every time I reboot the laguage I have set for a program changes back to my default. How can I keep it from changing?

Here's what I've done:

* I open Setpoint (Logitech's mouse/keyboard program).

* I set the language to English from the Language bar (on my taskbar).

* Setpoint now assumes that I'm using an English keyboard for as long as I boot again. After that it goes back to Finnish (my default language).

I would really appreciate the help. Setpoint is a startup program by the way...

Does the SetPoint software not have it's own settings for language?
If not, then perheps you need to visit logitech for an update?

Anybody have any ideas? This is a Vista problem and not a Setpoint problem.

If the SetPoint software has been "updated" to install to Vista, then Logitech hasn't done a proper job of updating the software itself to the new Windows Vista Design Guidelines.

If the SetPoint program is trying to save its settings to a place that it is no longer permitted to do, such as the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE section of the registry, or in an INI file somewhere in "C:\Program Files (x86)", "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Windows". The new security features of Vista prevent accidental improper changes to those locations in order to improve system stability and to minimise the threat posed by malware.

Just about the only programs that are permitted to write to the above locations (to a certain degree) are properly signed and configured installers. According to Microsoft design guidelines, programs should store their own configuration data in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER section of the registry.

Again, check the Logitech website for an update, because I'm convinced that this is defintely not a Vista problem. If you are using the most recent version, then may I suggest you contact Logitech and tell them about the problem you are having that SetPoint does not remmber its language settings between reboots?
