Maybe if guys like Frank or Alias paid half as much attention to their systems as they do their egos, then perhaps too they will run Vista without problems.

    Currently dual booting between Vista x64 Ultimate Windows 7 BETA x64
i dont really care for oc'ing that much..but i cant even set it up like from 266 to 280..now ...it used to go up to around 289 and got it running and 2.7ghz...now my system jus kinda freezes on the boot screen before...dont really care..jus wondering why?

after i oc'ed my cpu from 266 to 270...problems are comn...my control panel is empty,
welcome center doesnt open...and windows cant check for updates...come on??

heh brink..looks like u didnt read 2 posts before urs...problems back in like 3 hours like john said..

jus did a clean install
and so far so good AGAIN

was thinking of doing a clean install on my old comp too...
been running 32 bit for the longest time on this one...and it says 64-bit capable...

check this out and see if i cna run vistax64 like my new comp

sorry..this is not the system i have listed with my quad core..
this is my old system...
u thinks it capable of x64 ..cuz it says 64bit capable...

oh yeah my new one shows 4 cores

The thing that determines x64 capability is the processor. If it is a 64 bit processor (athlon 64, 64 x2, core 2 duo, etc), then yes you can install x64 vista on that machine. Assuming of course that there are drivers to support your hardware
