| Vista Home Premium | The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action I receive this error everythime i try to open a program. How do i set these assocaitions so my computer will work properly. The reall message says.... This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an assocaition in the Set Assocations control panel. I get this message for every program. If i right click and select run as administrator i can get into the programs. I just dont know how to fix this problem. |

You just will just need to reassociate your .exe file extensions. Go to this link below and click on the exe in the box and download and save the exefix_vista.zip file to your desktop. This will show you how. How to Repair and Verify the Integrity of Vista System Files with System File Checker Try to Merge the .reg file again. If this still fails, then you can do a Repair install.
