TV Tuner Not Working in Vista X64

ok...my old computer...an m7060n HP....had a tv tuner card that worked perfectly fine with the 32bit version of vista...and since i found out my cpu supports 64bit i switched to 64 bit....seems like there is no driver software...and cant find wat kind of card it is so i can chek their website...

Unless you find out what kind of card it is, we cannot help you ?

hmm..In Vista X86 when the Card works look in Device Manager,you will definately find out what kind of Card it is.
Then search on Google for the Driver , but if there is no Vista X64 driver for that card ,i guess you should stick to X86.

You might check on the tv tuner card itself for any kind of model number or something etched onto the board or on a sticker that may help ID it. Does Device Manager give you any clues to what it's ID is? If nothing else, take a good picture of it and post it here. Maybe someone will recognize it.

the only reason i didnt mention device manager is because all it says is a media controller...
might check the hardware...
not that big of a deal guys...never really used it...but if i could find the type of hardware
i would of googled it myself..

That is what i was trying to say mathews ,unless we know the type of card we cannot help you find the Drivers.

Anyways i think its a Generic card that luckily had Vista 32-bit Drivers.
Let us know if you do find the Driver though,it will help others.

Mail HP requesting them a Driver for Vista X64 and see if they respond.
