| Vista Ultimate x86, x64 | huge bios problem - please help Hello, I own a Lanparty nf4 sli dr motherboard and have recently downloaded and flashed the latest bios from the manufacturer's website. As recommended by the manufacturer, I used winflash to flash the bios. Everything seemingly went well, and the program asked to reboot and I did. Now the computer won't start up. It will get as far as the motherboard logo, but not far enough for me to entire the bios. I don't know what to do. I tried to contact the manufacturer via the phone and have been put on waiting every time. Anyone have any advice or suggestions? My computer does not have a floppy drive by the way. |

| Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: huge bios problem - please help Have you tried clearing the cmos via the jumper next to the battery? I have just looked at the manufacturers website, and it looks like your mobo has a feature called cmos reloaded, this has bios recovery tools, if you have your manual about look it up. |

| Vista Ultimate x86, x64 | Re: huge bios problem - please help Thanks a lot for the reply, I initially tried resetting the cmos using the jumper technique, but that didn't work. However, after finally managing to contact the manufacturer, they suggested something similar. Following their advice I disconnected the psu, removed the cmos battery, and rearranged the jumper settings. After waiting a recommended 30 minutes, I restored everything to its original state and everything worked fine. |

| Windows Vista X64 | Re: huge bios problem - please help @mathews , NEVER update your BIOS with overclocked settings.Always reset it to stock, update BIOS and then Overclock again if you want to. It may have worked for you now but dont try it again. |
