how to deflash your bios

ok normally i jus flash my bios with the asus update program on my computer and not my bios...but it will not let you lower ur bios version such as my current 0805 to the older 0704...my bios also does not seem to cooperate with my cd that has the .rom..burned on there....are there any flash programs for a 64 bit system...i know theres a few for 32 bit

have you tried downgrading using the interface within the bios? I have found the Asus update facility fairly unreliable so normally stick the bios onto a memory stick, reboot, go into Bios and use the facility within there to change.
