Trying to Disable Startup Animation?

Hello, I'm currently trying to make my ultimate x64 boot up in such a way that the startup "animation," where the vista logo glows for a few seconds, doesn't show up. any ideas?

I don't know the answer but I'd like to know how to replace that animation with one of my own or with a JPEG.
