RAM query

hi new to the forum i have vista ultimate x64 my system appears to be using 1.5ghz idle is this normal....



it is not a problem i have never seen windows and apps open so fast but they say min requirements 512mb how is that possible.....

Think that the Regcure prog MIGHT be non-genuinue so chek that out, also do the standard check like ChkDsk and Antivirus etc

What is happening is that Vista is pre-loading into active memory programs which it thinks you may use so they'll launch faster. This is a normal feature of the OS. In the case where a running application needs the memory, Vista will surrender it just as if the memory was empty.
