| vista ultimate 32bit | The requested resource is in use. When I try to open some programs it gives me that message. I think I did something to my permissions but I can't see what it is I have full control set. I tried installing a program and it said the system has set policies to prevent it. Hi Kanetaker, Welcome to Vista Forums. ![]() You might consider creating a new Administrator account in Safe mode, then delete your old user account from within the new Administrator account. Be sure to select "Keep Files" when deleting to save a copy of the old user account's user folders to a folder on the new Administrator account's desktop. See: User Account - Delete Shawn |
