It is a C2D 2.00GHz with 4GB RAM and a Geforce Go 7700. My question is, what would be the optimal size of the virtual memory (page file) that my system should use? I currently have min=max=4092MB. Should I lower it or raise it to be 1.5x or 2.0x my RAM? Or should I leave it as 1.0x my RAM like it is now? Thanks for your help. |

Also you might want to set your windows core programs, i.e. kernel, to reside in memory vice paging file. Could improve performance. |

Very good app, I use it for certain feature tweaking. Also if you have another driver/partition, you can set the pagefile onto that other partition and take the load off the main drive. |

Now expand HKLM > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Session Manager > Memory Management. Over on the right hand side right click on 'DisablePagingExecutive' and select 'Modify....'. In the 'Value data:' put '1'. Click 'OK'. If 'DisablePagingExecutive' is not listed then right click anywhere on a blank space on the right side and select 'New' > 'DWORD (32-bit) Value' and name it 'DisablePagingExecutive' and give it a value of '1'. |
