| Newbie Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Replacing mobo with Vistax64? Gday I purchased a GA-p965-dq6 with Vistax64 OEM some time back. It is out of warranty, it appears an imminent mobo failure.(runs when IT feels like it. LMAO) It's not a real prob as have installed a mobo on new sytems before. Rather than try and find a another 965 mobo, I wish to use a GA-X38-DS4. Is it possible without a reinstall? If I have to reinstall am I going to get any Vista reactivation grief? I changed cpu's e6600 to q6600 about 2 months back and had no probs at all. Any feedback appreciated cheers P.S. I think Vistax64 is brilliant 8) Last edited by bobbavet; 01-29-2008 at 08:04 AM. |
