Unable to delete DVD files!!

Can anyone please tell me why I cannot delete any files writen to DVD without keep ejecting the disc?

Disc was formatted and can be written to without problems. Using explorer it looks as though the files have gone after delete but if I navigate away from the DVD drive then back again the files show as still being there. If I try and delete the files again (or folder) I just get a little "pinging noise" probably indicating they have in fact gone, but they still show on the screen. Eject the disc and reinsert and they have gone, then the folder can be deleted normally.

I have never come across this before.

I have Nero 8 installed and normally format with that. 2 DVD drives Pioneer 115D's installed. Using Verbatim +RW discs.

Would be grateful for any help.

YAY! at long last someone else with this problem. I think it is a Nero Showtime and/or re-code issue. Although you have exited the module, something is still hanging on to the files. I have never experienced the problem without having first run one or both of the above. After re-booting the remaining files will disappear. Would love to find a proper solution

I wondered if it was a Nero fault, or maybe another Vista interaction!

Are there any others with this problem I wonder?
