Vista - Can you make a 32-bit Setup Launcher work?

Hello,

I've jumped into Vista x64 and am loving it so far, got everything worked out in hardware and software, until now.

I have a program I'm trying to install whose setup file is a "32-bit Setup Launcher" (also the description name in Task Manager).

However, nothing happens, it just remains in the windows process list but doesn't install. I've already ticked XP compatibility mode, and run as administrator.

The setup file is below (7MB). It's a special DVD format authoring tool called Discwelder Bronze.

(manually extract for the setup file).

Will I have to rig up a dualboot with my old x86 Vista in order to use it?
The only other program I have that doesn't work, is MARIO & LUIGI (

I dont get why you are manualy extracting the setup, I have just downloaded and installed the app with no problems.

Duh! [bangs head]

I forgot to try closing some other programs (something was conflicting). Sometimes it's the simplest things.

As for Mario, dosbox fixed that.
