I have 8gb installed currently in this XP box (in anticipation of Vista 64), and so was wondering if it is critical to remove two modules before installing Vista 64. What do you know? Noel |

I have read a couple of post by people with errors above 2gig installed. I dont know if ms have put out a hotfix yet but that will not apply yet as you have not installed the OS. You can try the install with all ram in but if vista fails to install it will take longer to sort it out, than removing the two sticks in the first place. |

So, 4 after my initial. No problems so far, only had it for about a month and i haven't had time to sit down and test to see if my system is in fact using the entire 8gb. It registers, but that doesn't mean its using it all. I'll get to that soon with break comming up and all. |
