Remove "Favourite Links" in Windows explorer?

Hi. This is my first post, so I figure a short introduction is in order. I'm a Vista noob. I had Vista since it was out, but never used it much. I have it installed on a second disk, alongside XP. I'll be starting to use it more now (thanks to a new DX10 card I want to use), so I have some basic questions. I'm using Vista SP1. Okay, now to the question:

Windows explorer in Vista has a "Favorite Links" panel at the top left. I currently don't see the need for it, and would like to make it go away, so that the folder tree has more space. How do I do that?

Thanks!

Hi ET3D,

Welcome to Vista x64 Forums.

This will show you how to hide the Favorite Links section so all you will see is the Folders section.

Re: Remove "Favourite Links" in Windows explorer?

Thanks good tip, what I would like to know is how to get rid of the "Folders" pane?... Just have a full IE with no pane at all. Is there a way to put a "Folders" tab next to "Organize" "Views" " Burns"?

TIA
