Just a newbie question

Hye,

I recently got a new pc, good with good graphics card and all of that, but there's only one gig of RAM installed and I would like to upgrade it. Can I simply buy hardware and install it or do I have to worry about compatibilty with my motherboard?

Tnx in advance!

Welcome to the Vista x64 Forums

You'll need to make sure the RAM is compatible with the motherboard and other installed RAM. You should have a users guide which tells you what kind of RAM can be installed.

If you need additional help, just let us know.
