| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Inactive icons First of all, great to have discovered this site. It has helped a big deal. Heck, now that I knew where to look, I figured out to always allow scripted windows to pop up (like when you want to hyperlink text inside Yahoo Mail.) Here's one for you. Everyone has a series of icons active in the systray. Mine would be, itunes..yahoo IM...HP printer..trend micro AV. I have those set as 'always show.' there's another one I always want to show- the 'webroot spy sweeper' that came with the PC. I set it to always show. But then it always reverts to 'hide' or 'hide when inactive.' why is that? |

The support site for your software says you need to download the latest version. Here's the support site for your software: Online Customer Support I would suggest that it is program related rather than OS related, since your other system tray icons are unaffected. Once you've downloaded the latest version of your software, if the problem persists, I'd contact the support group for your software and tell them about your issue. I hope this helps. |

| Windows 7 RC | Re: Inactive icons I'm thinking there is some part of the program that is not permitting the icon to be displayed in the system tray. If this is happening to you, it may be happening to others. I'd be sure to let the software support folks know about this. Best of luck to you. |
