| Windows Vista x64 Ultimate | Windows Live FolderShare I was just wondering if anyone is using Windows Live FolderShare (https://www.foldershare.com/learnmore.aspx) and what they thought of it. Is it any good? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Windows Live FolderShare I actually use it quite often and find it to be a pretty good tool for what I use it for. I do a lot of telecommuting (especially during Colorado winters), and it's a great way for me to keep my work docs in synch between the house and the office. Haven't really tried any of the other sharing stuff though - I guess I'm just selfish that way... |

It's actually the sharing thing that I had in mind, because I often find myself "out in the field", at a client premises or home, and don't always have the required information with me, which is usually a patch file, or a link in my favourites, etc. I'm absolutely terrible with USB keys, and have a remarkable tendency to lose them. Will I need to install FolderShare on a client PC before I can access a shared folder, or does it support a web-only access method where I can log in and get to the particular file/s that I want? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Windows Live FolderShare There is a client install required, and you log into the cloud share using your Windows Live ID so I'd be cautious when putting it on a customer's PC if I were you...
