| Vista Ultimate x64 | Boot failure caused by Paragon I was on winxp and using paragon, I chose the New OS install option. This restarted my computer and when I tryed to start my computer, I get verifying dmi pool data... Remove media or other device. Press any key to restart. I tried every possible boot order, checked my raid status, Even reloaded cmos and did everything over again... same results. I now installed Vista on another partition but I want to make my xp bootable again, any ideas? I'm not sure if winxp repair will be possible since 1. I can't find the disk 2. I have the winxp glitch in which when I load my OS a prompted password is asked but no possible answer will work. |

| Windows Vista™ Ultimate | Re: Boot failure caused by Paragon Yes its possible to make XP bootable again only if the boot-loader was modified, for the pwd prompt that depends if your at the welcome screen press ctrl+alt+del twice to get to the advanced login and type administrator then hit enter or there are many boot disks available to reset the password for you. |
