background tasks after switching user???

Hello All,

I have noticed some "interesting" changes after changing to Visa but one is becoming a little tiresome.

When switching user in XP, things used to continue in the "background". One obvious example is downloading however, I have noticed then when switching user in Vista (Home prem) these sorts of tasks appear to hang.

Am I missing a trick?
