    Transferring files?

    sorry for silly question, I'm new to this site
    Please let me know how to transfer files from one account to another in a vista computer.;;;;;;;;---)

    Hi Nishanth,

    Welcome to Vista Forums.

    This tutorial will help making moving and copying files easier to do on Vista.

    Context Menu - Add COPY TO FOLDER and MOVE TO FOLDER

    You will need to do the transferring from within an administrator account. If you wanted to transfer the files to another user account's user folders, then you can just copy or move it to their C:\Users\(user name)\(folder name) folder.

    Not sure what you mean by Vista IP address in your title.

    Actually I was intending to post some question on IP address settings in vista, but suddenly thouught about this.......
