| Vista HP 64-Bit | C: 2 Program files Folders??? I was reviewing my C: drive and noted that there are 2 Program Files folders.** One says Program Files -- 21 folders** One says Program Files (x86) -- 31 foldersSo, whats the real deal, eh???Joey |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: C: 2 Program files Folders??? Hi Joey, You will only see this in the 64 bit version of Vista. The Program Files (x86) folder is for the installed 32 bit programs, and the Program Files folder is for the installed 64 bit programs. It's just a way to help keep them organized better by MS since there are two versions of some programs installed. Shawn |
