Vista - IE7 and WMP11 Crashing

Guys, new to the forums, hoping I'll find some help. I have problems with WMP11 and IE7 both crashing. The APPCRASH details are the same for both programs but I cannot find anywhere on the internet that talks about this error. These are the details.

OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit

The error is exactly the same for both IE7 and WMP11, the only difference is of course the "APP NAME".

Any help would be aprecciated!

Welcome to Vista Forums.

You may have a bad IE7 add-on that is causing it to crash. This tutorial will show you how to test and fix this problem if this is the case.

Internet Explorer - Reset


For WMP11, it can be the same problem with a plug-in. In WMP11, click on Tools, Plug-ins, Options. Remove any suspect plug-ins to see if that helps.
