Mine has the 18 programmable G-keys with 3 modes for a total of 54. The new revised G15 gaming keyboard is smaller with 6 G-keys and 3 modes for a total of 18 programmable G-keys. Also a slightly smaller lcd screen. I think a non-gamer could get a lot of use out of it. Any windows commands you can do with a keyboard you can program to do with a G-key. Some non-gaming commands I have programmed to G-keys are the Windows key + e, Windows key + r, Windows key + pause, six frequently visited web sites. For Internet; Ctrl + n, Ctrl + f. | Banned Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Logitech G15 anyone got one ? You should like your new G 15. Being left handed some of the gaming features IE: G keys aren't much help, but the LED display is cool. You can program it to tell you just about anything. Also you asked about the G keys? You can program them for a variety of tasks as well, that have nothing to do with gaming. I've been concentrating on getting my computer stable and learning this Vista so I haven't spent much time fooling with programming my keyboard. One cool thing is the built in hot buttons for all your media as well as the 2 USB ports. You can pause playback, mute sound, control sound, FF or rewbnd, check mail, and other things from the LED display without getting out of the program you are working on. Now if i can just figure out how to program it to go get me another beer, I think I'll be set. |
