Documents link is broken

Hi,

I searched and found allot of similar problems but not exactly this one and it's driving me crazy. I should mention i have a vista business 64bit.
In the start menu theres the Documents link (top right). I messed around with it long ago and now it doesn't work at all.
  • When i click it nothing happens.
  • When I right-click it i get only 3 options - (Copy,Rename,Properties).
  • When I choose properties from the right click menu I get a blank general properties windows (no file name, no move location, size 0 - like a properties window for a file that doesn't exist)
  • When I run "shell: documents" it doesn't exist. (added space to avoid smiley)
  • I created a folder "Documents" under my profile directory (which exists and works) and it didnt help.
  • My "Personal" shell link also doesn't work.
  • Everything else works (my music, my pictures, etc...)
  • The registry fields for the folder location are correct.
Its like theres no way to bring it back!
Anyone knows what I can do?

HELP!
and Thanks of course

UPDATE:
- I tried to do option 2 of the "Move Location" Tutorial here at the site. It failed because after creating a new folder and setting the registry to point to it nothing changed - the folder didnt have a "Location" tab in the properties window.

- What is the difference between "Personal" folder and the "Documents" folder??

Re: Documents link is broken

I fixed it by combining the "move folder" and "fix folder"
So thank you to anyone who was going to help
