| Vista x64 Ultimate | Location tab So i was an idiot and didn't read how to move the Documents folder so now I have a folder on a d: that has not "Locations" tab in the properties folder. I've gone into the registry and edited "Personal" in the shell folder to what should have been the orginal data value, (C:\Users\my user name.doman\documents) and recreated the desktop.ini with no results in getting back the location tab. So what do you think, back up three yards and punt?!? |

| vista ultimate x64 | Re: Location tab Schmowie: have you solved your missing "Location tab"? I have the same problem, I just want to move c:\user to a different partition, but when I do properties ..., there's no location tab at all. if I right-click and drag the user folder to new partiton and select move, nothing happened. I glanced thru The tutorial, but there's no specifics on "missing location tab", I don't want to risk changing registry jsut yet |
