I went to the Reset User Account Password site as suggested by Brink in another forum. I have a question about Method One before I try it. It says to logon to the Administrator account. I am already logged on. Can I go to Reset or Change the forgotten password? If so, how? Can I change or reset the password if I don't know the original password? I don't want to try this and get locked out of the computer.

Hi Gotony,
Welcome to Vista Forums. ![]() Since you do not know what the current password is, you will not be able to use that method unless you do it from within another administrator account. You will most likely need to do Method Three instead. Reset User Account Password Hope this helps, Shawn |

There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them. Please post feedback to help others.
