| Vista Ultimate 32bit, XP-Pro | Setting Folder View Options Hi All, I have had many problems since I installed Vista Ultimate, both major and minor. I have solved some and am still working on others. I won't try to adress them all now. The problem with folder view settings is one of the most aggravating, though not operationally significant. Still, it does CONSTANTLY Piss Me Off. Pardon my language, but it IS appropriately descriptive. Regardless of whatever settings I choose, the next time I go to that folder or any other, they have reverted to some set of system defaults, which I CAN'T CHANGE. Several I don't use and some I don't want or actually get in the way of what I want to do, such as "AutoArrange". (If I ever meet the person who invented "AutoArrange" I will probably be arrested for assault.) Does ANYONE know what I can do to set my folders the way I want them and retain the settings? |
